Grace Fellowships

Introducing Grace Fellowships

Have you ever heard yourself say, 'I'll meet you at the church' and you're referring to a building OR 'We're going to be late for church' and you're referring to a service?  Through Grace Fellowships, we hope to redefine and reimagine church the way the Bible describes it - WE are the church!

Every believer has received grace gifts, so use them to serve one another as faithful stewards of the many-colored tapestry of God's grace.

- 1 Peter 4:10 TPT

At Pure Grace Unlimited, we believe that God's intentions for His church are much more than the current form provides.  Most buildings and services which call themselves church celebrate only a few of the many gifts that God has given His church - usually music and teaching.  The Bible lists many more gifts and declares that every member of the body has a gift and should contribute it to the rest of the body.  When you think about it, how many of the gifts listed in the Scriptures have you seen exercised in a church building or a church service?  If 100 people attended a service, how long would the service be if all 100 contributed their unique gifting?

Our vision for Grace Fellowships is similar in model to House Churches.  What appeals to us about the House Church model is the size - we believe that smaller groups of people allows for each member to contribute and for the group to have the capacity to demonstrate care towards each other.  The building - since we meet in our existing homes there is no need for building projects.  Grace Fellowships hopes to facilitate members of the body of Christ sharing a meal together, worshipping together, praying together, each member exercising their unique giftings, and a community which practices "community-care" towards one another.
